Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects related to new product introduction which covers both build to print and customised parts.
- Monitor the status of first article orders/projects, analysing potential risks and issues that may impact delivery schedules, and implement appropriate countermeasures to mitigate them.
- Organize new requirements into actionable tasks for team members, ensuring clarity and accountability.
- Develop, maintain, and generate performance reports detailing project status, risks, and achievements for internal distribution and review.
- Foster collaboration and communication between the Sales team, customers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective follow-up actions and closure of projects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and procedure.
- Conduct data analysis, including the development of dashboards and reports with the business intelligence tools and recommend corrective measures for any identified discrepancies.
- Support Request for Quotes (RFQs) process which includes developing accurate, timely, and competitive quotations in response to Sales’ inquiries.
- Perform root cause analysis of data discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
- Facilitate site visits for customers and prepare presentations.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the management team to support the overall goals and objectives of the Product Management department.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Data science or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience manufacturing environment. Preferably in new product introduction, inside sales, quotation support or order processing.
- Detail-oriented, responsive, and customer-centric.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office required and SAP required.
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI and SQL) is advantageous.
- Knowledge in optics is advantageous.
