Job Responsibilities:
Quality Management System (QMS) Leadership and Strategy:
· Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management Strategy that aligns with the organization's overall mission, vision, and business objectives.
· Establish and enforce quality policies, procedures, and standards across all manufacturing stages.
· Monitor and improve the effectiveness of the QMS, ensuring compliance with ISO and other relevant quality certifications.
Quality Policies and Standards:
· Establish and maintain company-wide quality policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices.
· Monitor and update quality policies as needed to comply with changing industry regulations, customer requirements, and technological advancements.
Quality Audits and Compliance:
· Conduct regular audits of manufacturing facilities to assess compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and industry certifications.
· Ensure that all necessary regulatory and industry certifications are obtained and maintained.
Supplier Quality Management:
· Develop and maintain a robust supplier quality management program to ensure that suppliers meet the organization's quality requirements.
· Collaborate with the procurement team to assess supplier quality and establish stringent quality requirements for incoming materials.
· Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Product Quality Assurance:
· Establish and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure that all products meet specifications and performance expectations.
· Drive the implementation of effective testing, inspection, and validation procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
Performance Metrics and Reporting:
· Define and track key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of quality-related activities and processes.
· Prepare regular reports for senior management, providing insights into quality trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
· Lead and support cross-functional teams in identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality.
· Promote the use of quality tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), across the organization.
Customer Focus:
· Collaborate with business development and sales teams to gather customer feedback, understand their needs, and incorporate customer requirements into quality processes.
· Address customer complaints and concerns related to quality issues promptly and effectively.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field; a Master's degree is a plus.
· Extensive experience in quality management within the electronics manufacturing services industry, with a focus on high tech capital equipment assembly.
· Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing quality strategies and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
· Strong knowledge of high tech equipment and semiconductor manufacturing processes, industry standards, and quality control methodologies.
· Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and certifications related to high tech capital equipment assembly.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
· Demonstrated ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
· Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) is advantageous
