Job Responsibilities:

-Oversees and directs all mechanical operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness, while leading a team to achieve production targets and maintain equipment.

-at least 10 years of working experience in Mechanical Overhaul Services.

-at least 10 years of working experience in Thermal Spray Technology.

-Able to work Irregular working hours to support OEM & Jurong Island Customers.

-Able to withstand outdoor weather.

-Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of mechanical technicians, engineers, and other personnel.

-Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities for team members.

-Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Plan, schedule, and coordinate mechanical operations to meet production goals and deadlines.

-Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

-Implement and maintain quality control procedures.

-Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Maintenance and Repair:

-Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.

Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems.

-Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies.

Budget and Cost Control:

-Develop and manage budgets for mechanical operations.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-reduction measures.

-Monitor and control expenses to stay within budget.

-Problem Solving:

Identify and resolve mechanical issues and problems.

Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of problems.

Develop and implement solutions to improve efficiency and performance.

Safety:

Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols.

Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.

Communication and Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Represent the mechanical operations department in meetings and presentations.
