Job Responsibilities:

• Researching and identifying potential suppliers and vendors.
• Evaluating supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery reliability.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
• Negotiating contracts and pricing to secure favorable terms.
• Collaborating with internal departments to determine purchasing needs.
• Forecasting demand for goods and services.
• Monitoring inventory levels.
• Developing and executing procurement strategies.
• Analyzing market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Comparing quotes from multiple suppliers.
• Optimizing purchasing budgets.
• Issued purchase orders and tracked delivery progress.
• Ensuring goods and services are received in the correct quantity and quality.
• Resolving issues such as delays or defective products.
• Maintaining accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's diploma in business, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in procurement ERP system e.g. globe3.
• Knowledge of market trends and supply chain principles.
