Key Responsibilities:
- Support hiring and onboarding activities for Direct Labor, Material Handler and contract recruitment, including participating in interviews and facilitating the hiring of qualified candidates for open positions.
- Coordinate pre-onboarding administration and deliver the new hire orientation program.
- Apply for and renew work passes promptly to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Track and monitor staff confirmation due date
- Process routine and confidential employment-related transactions, such as data entry for new hires/changes.
- Administer and execute human resource programs, including disciplinary actions, performance and talent management and employee recognition.
- Oversee the planning, content creation and publish the bi-monthly e-newsletter.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations, suggesting updates or changes to maintain alignment with best practices and legal standards.
- Respond to employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex or sensitive matters as needed.
- Assist in implementing and enforcing company HR policies, procedures and initiatives.
- Manage the coordination of employee training and development programs, including scheduling, logistics, tracking participation, and maintaining accurate training records.
- Analyze current workflows to identify and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, with at least 5 years of HR experience and IHRP-CA/CP certification.
- Proven HR experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Solid knowledge of the Employment Act and other Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the workforce.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, demonstrating strong time management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive personnel information with discretion and independent judgment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in Canva.
