Job Description
The Senior Inventory Control Manager will collaborate closely with other teams and departments, oversee inventory planning, address discrepancies, and implement best practices to maintain a seamless flow of goods and exceptional inventory accuracy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- A people manager who will manage a team
- Analyze sales trends and forecast demand to optimize inventory levels
- Analyze weekly inventory trend (raw/wip/fg) movement by product groups
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and policies
- Monitor inventory turnover rates and identify slow-moving or excess stock for resolution
- Weekly E&O reporting and mitigation
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock levels, orders and returns
- Collaborate closely with the purchasing team to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts
- Resolve any inventory related issues or discrepancies promptly
- Continuously seek to improve processes and identify opportunities for efficiency gains
- Streamlined inventory management processes to reduce lead time
- Involved in supply chain flexibility and lead time reduction programs
- Drive implementation of VOI (Vendor Owned Inventory)
- Understands all VOI parameters, calculations and data feeds to accurately generate replenishment orders
- Develops reports to track all metrics and identify trends or issues that impact inventory levels
- Support program tasks as assigned

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Inventory Management
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industry
- Experience in the position of Planning, Procurement or Inventory Control.
- Experience with product design engineering and commodity management or priorities for raw material or component selection.
- Experience integrating the delivery schedule of materials into product program milestones.
- Working knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning (preferred SAP) and Bill of Material Structure tools (preferred Agile)
- Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
