Key Responsibilities:
- Quantity measurement of the following trades - Structural works, Piping works, Electrical and instrumentation works, Mechanical and equipment works, Painting works
- Reconcile MTO with the client
- Monitoring changes on-site with production teams.
- Compiling change proposal register
- Preparation & submission of change proposal to Client for approval
- Reconcile with Client on the change proposals submitted
- Project Costs Control - Design drawing changes, Monitoring periodically on the increased or decreased in works scope, Handle any Commercial Claims (i.e. Extension of Time, disputed claims, etc)
- Contracts Management - Ensure that Client's works & costs are in-line with the contract, Able to identify variance arises in the contract, Manage any disputed items
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years in the Quantity Surveying (QS) construction sector or Marine sector
- Proficient in handling the full scope of QS duties, including material take-off and managing variations.
