Key Responsibilities:

· Interpret and understand technical drawings for quality inspection purposes, including basic geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T).

· Operate and maintain various types of measuring equipment, including Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).

· Hands-on experience with CMM machines, particularly brands such as Mitutoyo, Zeiss, and DEA.

· Proficient in CMM programming using PCDMIS software to ensure accurate inspection and measurement.

· Monitor and ensure that in-process quality consistently meets specifications outlined in work instructions and standard operating procedures.

· Prepare and generate detailed inspection reports based on measurement results and quality assessments.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Educational Background:

• ITE/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Precision Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.

· Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role or industry.

· Skills:

• Strong ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in operating CMM equipment and understanding of its capabilities and limitations.
• Knowledge of precision engineering and quality control processes.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and address issues related to measurement accuracy.

· Personal Attributes:

• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating a high level of responsibility and reliability.
