Job Summary:

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to manage financial transactions, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate environment, and be well-versed in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Set of Accounts: Maintain and manage the full set of accounts, including AP, AR, and GL.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• GST & Tax Compliance: Handle GST submissions, corporate tax filings, and liaise with auditors and tax authorities.
• Payroll & Expenses: Oversee payroll processing, staff claims, and expense reimbursements.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow management.
• Audit & Compliance: Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and company policies.
• Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements in accounting procedures for better efficiency.
• Software & Systems: Utilize accounting software (e.g., SAP, Xero, QuickBooks) and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in Singapore.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Singapore tax laws, GST regulations, and SFRS.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Independence: Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Teamwork: Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in accounting is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial reporting standards (SFRS) and IRAS regulations.
• Hands-on experience with payroll processing and corporate tax submissions.
