Financial Controller – Driving Growth & IPO Readiness

Job Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Growth Planning
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business expansion and potential IPO.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Lead financial forecasting, planning, and risk assessment for sustainable growth.
Cash Flow & Capital Management
- Manage cash flow, optimize working capital, and support financial forecasting.
- Develop cost control and investment plans to improve profitability.
- Implement financial models to track profitability, cost structures, and ROI.
Funding & Investment Support
- Identify and secure funding sources, including grants, private equity, and institutional financing.
- Work with banks, investors, and financial institutions to secure expansion capital.
- Support M&A activities, partnerships, and corporate investments.
Shareholder & Stakeholder Relations
- Manage financial reporting and investor relations.
- Ensure transparency in financial performance and business projections.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to uphold corporate governance standards.
Financial Compliance & Corporate Governance
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and audit requirements.
- Oversee external audits and statutory financial reporting.
- Establish financial policies to prepare for public listing and regulatory changes.
Operational Finance Enhancement
- Oversee accounting and finance functions to align with business expansion.
- Strengthen financial controls, ERP integration, and automation of financial processes.
- Implement best practices in financial reporting and management accounting.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CFA, or equivalent preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in financial management, corporate finance, or capital markets.
- Expertise in cash flow management, funding strategies, and financial planning for scaling businesses.
- Experience working with external auditors, investors, and regulatory bodies.
- Proven leadership in financial strategy execution within a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of corporate finance, investment structuring, and shareholder management.
- Understanding of listing requirements, corporate governance, and financial regulations (preferred).
- Energetic, forward-thinking, and committed to long-term company growth.
