We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Buyer to manage the sourcing of materials, supplies, and services for our airport projects. The role is pivotal in ensuring cost-effective procurement practices while adhering to company standards and enhancing supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and select vendors that meet project and company requirements.
• Negotiate competitive pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to secure optimal value.
• Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
• Perform cost analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement activities with project schedules and budgets.
• Resolve any issues related to supplier performance, quality, or delivery.
• Support the Head of Procurement in developing and improving procurement policies and procedures.

Experience Required:

• At least 2-3 years of buying experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
• Proven experience in vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices and market analysis.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Education/Qualification

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or any related field.
• Additional certifications or training in insurance, sales, will be a plus.
