Component Repair Technician (NDT)

A multinational aerospace corporation is hiring a Component Repair Technician, to perform Non-Destructive Testing on components and parts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform calibrations, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and evaluations to determine part acceptance or rejection.
- Accurately interpret inspection operation sheets and work instructions.
- Organize, sort, and prepare parts for NDT inspection.
- Efficiently load, unload, and operate real-time X-ray (XR), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), or automated Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) lines.
- Conduct X-Ray, Ultrasonic, Fluorescent Penetrant, Eddy Current, and Magnetic Particle Inspections per operational guidelines.
- Ensure equipment is operational and maintained at all times.
- Assist engineers with inspection evaluations and reporting.
- Maintain process systems and testing equipment to ensure continuous compliance with approved standards.
- Prepare and clean parts before and after inspection.
- Conduct audits in the NDT area to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and housekeeping duties.
Job Requirements:
- GCE ‘O’ Level with 5 years of Quality Inspection experience OR
- GCE ‘O’ Level with 2 years of NDT experience OR
- Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or Aerospace Engineering.
- CAAS-approved NDT certification is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing operation sheets and standard procedures in English.
