Component Repair Technician (Welding)

A multinational aerospace corporation is hiring a Component Repair Technician, focusing on utilising Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) to repair through
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and perform welding of high temperature alloys in the repair of turbine engine components using TIG.
- Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping tasks as scheduled.
- To be assessed on both internal and external welder's proficiency tests on a periodic basis.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level with 3 years of relevant experience OR
- Preferably NITEC/Higher NITEC in Welding
- Relevant Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Certificates or CAAS approval in TIG Welding/General Welding or equivalent
- Proficiency in reading and understanding manufacturing operation sheets and standard procedures in English.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow instructions.
- Skilled in using measuring instruments.
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- A collaborative team player
