Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist specializing in Turning and Milling to join their dynamic team. This position involves operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines effectively to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Program, set up, and operate CNC Milling and Turning equipment independently.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal functioning.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on machined parts using measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with machining processes.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies in the workshop.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support efficiency and safety.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least a Higher Nitec or equivalent in Mechanical or Precision Engineering or a related field.
• Proficient in CNC programming and operation, with specific experience in Turning and Milling.
• Solid understanding of machining processes and principles.
• Experience with 5-axis CNC machines is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings accurately.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
