Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Support:
  • Assist in developing mechanical system designs, including calculations, component selection, and drawing creation.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications for mechanical components and systems.
  • Review and check design calculations for accuracy.
• Project Management Assistance:
  • Track project progress against schedule and budget.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including technical reports and meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Site Coordination:
  • Assist with on-site installation and commissioning of mechanical systems.
  • Perform quality checks on installed equipment and materials.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during construction.
• Procurement Support:
  • Prepare purchase orders for mechanical components and equipment.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and source materials based on specifications.
• Technical Analysis:
  • Conduct research on new technologies and materials relevant to mechanical engineering projects.
  • Analyze engineering data to identify potential issues and propose solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including material and design, assembly techniques.
• Proficiency in Solidworks software for drawing creation and modification
• Basic project management skills, including scheduling and budget tracking
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
