Associate / Test Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical, thermal, and RF testing on test sockets, contact media, jigs, and fixtures, including force, resistance, and lifecycle testing.
- Operate and analyze data from advanced testing equipment, such as FDR, MPT, Cycling, and RF machines.
- Design and set up customized test fixtures and procedures, while reviewing test standards and specifications, and preparing comprehensive test reports.
- Work closely with vendors and internal departments to address engineering challenges or testing requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain and update test reports, records, test facilities, and laboratory equipment.
- Assist in validating and verifying new testing methods and equipment.
- Develop and implement testing protocols that comply with ISO and industry standards.
- Ensure the calibration and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment for accurate test results.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations that summarize test findings, trends, and material performance.
- Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum ITE or Diploma in Engineering disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Precision Engineering, etc.).
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Semiconductor industry. Laboratory testing and semiconductor experience is a plus
- Basic proficiency in MS Office. Knowledge of SolidWorks and RF is a bonus.
- Strong skills in data analysis, statistical interpretation, and laboratory software.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills for reporting and teamwork.
- Result-driven and service-oriented with strong initiative and good communication skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently on challenging projects.
- Problem-solving skills, effective time management, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Enthusiastic, resourceful, and responsible with a proactive “can-do” attitude.
