Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to stamping processes to ensure productivity, quality, and cost objectives are met.
• Contribute to the review and design of stamping tools for new product developments.
• Collaborate with the Production Team to meet performance goals and targets.
• Define process capabilities, optimal parameter settings, mill costs, Bills of Materials (BOM), and work instructions for dies and related processes.
• Identify and suggest cost-saving strategies or improvements to ensure competitive pricing and quality, meeting both current and future stamping needs.
• Offer technical support and training to Toolmakers and Production Technicians to enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead and mentor a team of Toolmakers and Production Technicians.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote safe working practices.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering or Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or NTC II in Tool and Die Making or equivalents.
• Diploma holders must have at least 5 years of experience in a high-speed stamping environment.
• Nitec and NTC II holders must have at least 15 years of experience in die maintenance and stamping.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to contribute innovative ideas is highly valued.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent time management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret die and part drawings.
• In-depth knowledge of metal forming, die making, and die maintenance.
• Capability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage work in an organized manner.
• Skilled in problem analysis and finding solutions efficiently.
• Experience in mass production of precision parts is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a pleasant, team-oriented demeanor.
