Quality Control Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure product compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
- Inspect and test materials, components, and finished products to identify defects and deviations from specifications.
- Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to production management or staff.
- Identify and implement corrective actions to address product non-conformities and process inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain detailed documentation of quality control procedures, inspections, and test results.
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, such as ISO 9001, and participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Prepare quality reports and perform process audits to evaluate product quality and process efficiency.
- Develop and implement quality assurance standards, policies, processes, and controls to maintain high-quality manufacturing practices.
- Liaise with customers to resolve any quality-related issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining positive relationships.
- Compile data related to quality control activities and analyze trends to improve processes.
- Coordinate and facilitate all internal and external audits, including re-certification of ISO 9001.
- Train and mentor production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control within the precision engineering or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, inspection techniques, and testing procedures.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and standards, such as ISO 9001.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and other departments.
- Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
