Our client is in the Precision Engineering Sector, providing high precision machining parts to the Aerospace and Semiconductor industries. They are looking for a Manufacturing and Process Engineer to create and generate NC programs. 

Responsibilities

• Generate NC programs for 3 axis and 4 axis machines. 
• Create operational instructions and process sheets for CNC parts 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements and innovations.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues promptly.
• Prepare detailed process documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to acquire necessary materials and equipment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and guidelines.
• Support the implementation of new tools, equipment, and training for production staff.

Requirements

• Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role within the precision engineering industry.
• Familiarity with Solidworks, SolidCAM, Mazak and Fanuc.
• Day to day usage of Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint for documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and visualisation skills.
• Good understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Adept at working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
