Our client is in the Precision Engineering Sector, providing high precision machining parts to the Aerospace and Semiconductor industries. They are looking for a CNC Machinist to operate CNC Milling Machines.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC manual milling machines to fabricate components according to specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings and job instructions to understand machining requirements.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and perform safety checks to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor the machining process and make necessary adjustments to improve output and quality.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure products meet required standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues that may arise during the machining process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with 5S housekeeping principles.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a CNC Machinist in the Precision Engineering industry.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and understanding technical specifications.
• Demonstrated experience with CNC lathes and milling processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle tasks independently.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and other departments.
• Able to work with a flexibility timing for shift, overtime and weekends.
