About The Role
Our client is seeking dedicated and experienced ICU Staff Nurses / Senior Staff Nurses to join the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. This role is vital in providing critical care to patients in life-threatening conditions, ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Deliver critical care to ICU patients, monitoring their condition closely and ensuring comfort and safety.
- Treatment Administration: Administer accurate treatments, medications, and interventions as prescribed, ensuring strict adherence to ICU protocols.
- Emergency Response: React promptly and effectively to medical emergencies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to stabilize patients.
- Equipment Management: Operate and maintain ICU-specific medical equipment, ensuring it is functioning efficiently and safely.
- Communication: Collaborate and communicate effectively with medical teams, patients, and their families, providing updates and education where necessary.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in training, feedback sessions, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the ICU operates at the highest standards.
Experience/Skills Required
- Minimum 2 years of solid and relevant ICU nursing experience.
- Strong ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to articulate effectively with team members and patients' families.
- Demonstrated stability in career progression (minimum 2 years in previous organizations).
- Proficiency in handling ICU-specific equipment and procedures.
Education/Qualification
- Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Possess recognized qualifications in Nursing (Preferably a Singapore Diploma in ICU)
Work Schedule
- 5-day workweek (42 hours per week).
- Rotational shifts:
- Morning Shift: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Afternoon Shift: 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm
- Night Shift: 9:00 pm – 7:00 am
